Amarilys Quintero Ruiz
is an independent creator. Professor of Design and Art History at several institutes of Design and Art: Caracas Design Institute, School of Integrated Arts, National Experimental University of Arts (UNEARTE), Darias Design Institute.
Has participated in exhibitions in various galleries and museums in Havana, Caracas, Mexico. He has made artistic presentations (performances) in cultural spaces, galleries and museums in Venezuela and Colombia. His visual and sound poems have been published in Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Ukraine and Australia.
First Prize in the International Radio Biennial with the work The silent cage of Juan. in tribute to the North American musician John Cage, México - 2006.
Currently the coordinator of the ARS SONORUS space dedicated to education, research and the dissemination of sound and visual arts.
